I have been a consistent top producing listing agent in the area of the Hollywood Hills, Los Feliz, Silver Lake and Echo Park for the past six years, and I was recently congratulated in 2008 for being in the top 1.7% nationally for all NRT agents (including Coldwell Banker and Century 21.)  While some agents take many listings and use their assitants to show and service the listings and clients, I believe in taking less listings and servicing the clients and listings myself.  My clients appreciate the higher degree of responsiblity that comes with being a 'hands-on' Realtor.  After all, you are hiring a savvy, professional, experienced and sophisticated agent--not a team of inexperienced underpaid people. 

When you are interviewing a top-producing agent, here are some questions you might ask:

Who will be showing my house and how will it be shown?
Who will be at the open houses?
Who will be handling the appointments?
Are you planning any out of town trips?
Who will I be dealing with on the phone?

You might be surprised to find out how little the agent will be involved.
